In other news...Karin and I were both surprised by the arrival of Belle's puppies today. They came a few days earlier than expected. I have to admit, when I started reading about whelping the puppies, I got a little concerned. Some resources talked about all the things that could go wrong and indicated that we'd probably have to aid the puppies' breathing after birth, among other things. Well, Belle must be a great mom, because she seemed like an old pro. I guess I just shouldn't be surprised...God designed it, and dogs have been having puppies for a few thousand years now. As usual, I just had to get out of the way.
