The Baby's Room (In Progress)

Over the last month Karin has been hard at work in the baby's room. :o)

Since we already had parts of the Zanzibar set, Karin wanted to continue with the safari theme on the wall. Here's the work in progress, in case anyone is interested.

We both looked up images on the internet, and we borrowed a projector to place these up on the wall. It's really looking good. I, of course, can't take much credit for it, other than finding a few of the images. This has been almost entirely Karin's project, and she's done an awesome job!

Here's the King of the Jungle. He's currently a little cross-eyed. Karin thinks it's hilarious, and insists that in the jungle, surely some of the lions out there must be cross-eyed. I think I'd rather fix it, but at least he probably won't be able to catch any of the other animals on the wall.

Here's a Rhino, Ostrich, and a little monkey.

Here's another shot of the monkey and the tree. Karin
was originally going to add a Baobab tree, but she decided
that it would make the room look too cluttered.

The giraffe is defintely my favorite animal in the whole room.

Here's the little boy in the room. I was surprised at how
well this one has turned out. Now that we've purchased
some yellow paint, Karin is planning to finish his hair.

Y'all have done nice work on the painting--very colorful. If the monkey were cross-eyed, it would look like you, J.
